Most children are fascinated by the kitchen. It is an exciting place with lots of gadgets and devices, smells and sounds interesting, and many people who work hard. But have you ever thought it could be a dangerous place for children? I'll tell a story that can strengthen this. I grew up in a house with four brothers. We had to learn to manage ourselves a lot when my mother went to work to help pay the bills.
One of the things we learned by practice was to cook for ourselves. Now I'll be the first to admit, I'm not greedy. I was very limited in my designs on things like frozen foods, canned foods, eggs, sandwiches, popcorn, etc. I also baked a cake or an occasional batch of chocolate chip cookies . I was about 12 when I decided to fry French fries. Now, what kid does not like hot chips?
I put the shortening of the pan and turned into a high, waiting for the fat to melt. A few days ago, my father had put a TV in the kitchen, so we could see the bar we were there. I am passionate about something that was, and sat down. Suddenly I heard a loud "poof" and pulled his head to see very high flames coming from the pan. Panic, I did what I advise you not to do, take a pan and throw it into your sink.
Fortunately for me, landed on the sink and put water and watched the steaming mess of a few seconds. Once you have ensured that the fire was out, I examined the damage, flame black marks on the ceiling, the worst in the history of perfume and the mess fat everywhere. My mother came home and she does not get angry as nearly as I thought it would burn his house. He, however, tell you the next time just put a lid on the pot!
The experience taught me to be more cautious when it comes to cooking pots and appliances. I recommend you spend some quality time with their children that shows how everything works and the importance of being cautious when using the kitchen. Peace of mind is much easier to achieve if you have prepared your children from potential hazards.
